It has been decided that our Sunday School will have a different schedule. Starting on Sunday, October 5th, we ask all children from age 3 through 12 to attend the 9:00 AM worship as usual. However, following the celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion with the blessing of the children, the children will be dismissed to go downstairs for Sunday School.
Beginning on October 12th, and following through on all non-Communion Sundays, the children will be dismissed from worship immediately following the children’s time for their educational time. Sunday School will conclude by about 10:15 AM or so. During this time we are in need of a parent or grandparent or two to stay with the teacher(s) to help.
It is our desire that this will increase our participation in educating our youth in their growing faith in Jesus Christ.
Catch the excitement and join a Sunday School Class today. We have classes for all ages. Teachers and helpers are also always welcome. Anyone willing to be part of this great educational experience should see Samantha Kistler. Just remember, you can’t ask “What would Jesus do?” until you know “What Jesus did and said!”

Thru the efforts of our Sunday school children, an offering is taken every 2nd Sunday with an outreach goal to give aid and offer funds to those people financially less fortunate in our community. This offering consists of the change from your pocket to be dropped in a bucket collected by our Angel Ushers that makes the joyful noise through every ones generosity.
If you know of an organization or individual that could benefit from this offering, please contact Nicole Hunsicker, Samantha Kistler, Pastor Heimer or the church office.
Joyous Noise Offerings occur the second Sunday of each month.
